A Trusted Provider in the Community

Get to Know Dr. Brian Goo

Dr. Brian Goo’s story begins in South Korea, the birthplace of his parents; then La Crescenta and Southern California, where he grew up; and finally Pasadena, the community he now proudly serves. Dr. Goo’s passion for dentistry, compassion for others, and overall work ethic stemmed from his mother’s 40+ year career as a nurse. After graduating from Crescenta Valley High School, Dr. Goo attended Northwestern University for his BA in biological sciences and minor in religious studies.

Dr. Goo then obtained his DDS from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California where he was also inducted into the OKU Dental Honor Society and received the Pierre Fauchard senior student award. He later completed four years of residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Highland General Hospital in Oakland, CA as well as the Arthur Dugoni University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA.

Dr. Goo is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon entering his fifth year of practice. His philosophy is to help patients by being a good communicator and provider, reminding himself what it’s like to be sitting in the treatment chair.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Goo loves bike riding around local parks with his wife, spending time with his dog and cats, and is always in search of the best handrolls, pasta, pho, and tacos. He also enjoys golfing, going to the gym, and working on his own car.
